Arabian Canal is the perfect marriage of functionality and scenic attraction.

The size of Arabian Canal and the land it will develop almost defy description. A vast amount of earthmoving, mining and other heavy equipment will be employed by an army of over 10,000 construction workers, all aiming to realise a complex vision created by Limitless, with the help of some of the world’s leading architectural, engineering and design experts.

Arabian Canal will use excavated earth to form a varied and distinctive topography, a first in Dubai.

Perhaps the most famous canal to date, the Panana Canal, is 77 kilometres long. It took 25 years to build and required the excavation of 190 million cubic metres of earth. Arabian Canal will be 75 kilometres long, will take three years to build and will excavate one billion cubic metres of earth, over five times as much as the Panama Canal.

Arabian Canal brings science and technology together to optimise the performance of its waterway.
